Drag lines are a great alternative to long leads. They provide the security of your dog being attached to a line, but because there is no handle, there is less worry it will snag on trees or objects.
 
**3/4" Biothane can get very heavy at longer lengths. If your pup is on the smaller/medium size, consider getting 1/2"
